Nearly 30 years ago, Bellinger began his career in compliance at a home healthcare company with a primary focus on healthcare RCM, privacy, and regulatory compliance for healthcare providers and RCM companies. After leaving home health, Bellinger joined Medac, Inc. as Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer where he served in that capacity for 20 years until being appointed CEO. Following Medac’s acquisition by MiraMed Global Services, Inc. in 2019, Bellinger was appointed Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer for MiraMed Global Services, Inc. where he oversaw compliance for both on-shore and off-shore operations. Following Veritas’s investment in, and combination of, MiraMed and Coronis Health, Bellinger serves as Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer of Coronis.

David Donnelly is a seasoned healthcare executive at Trinity Health Advisors with nearly 30 years of experience spanning clinical and business roles across diverse care settings. His background includes work with private equity-backed and physician-owned multispecialty practices, large single-specialty groups, and pre-hospital-based organizations.

David is known for aligning teams around a shared vision by combining data-driven decision-making with clear, high-touch communication and a strong focus on accountability. Throughout his career, he has consistently bridged the gap between clinical priorities and business performance, helping organizations operate more effectively while delivering better outcomes.

Dr. Chris Steel is a board-certified anesthesiologist. He served as the medical director for the ASA’s Perioperative Surgical Home Learning Collaborative 2020 and chaired the PSH Implementation Guide Workgroup. Dr. Steel has been Director of Anesthesia Services at White River Health for over 13 years, served as the Chief Quality Officer, Chief of Staff, Chief Medical Officer, and the Interim President and CEO. He is also currently the Chief Medical Consultant for E1 Precision Consulting and Long Game Health, whose clients currently include: medical clinics, health systems, anesthesia management companies, anesthesia groups, as well as non-healthcare-related companies. 

Christopher Thu, M.D. is a USAP Physician Partner and board-certified anesthesiologist. He is a member of the USAP Board of Directors, USAP Clinical Operations Committee and a Chair of the Clinical Governance Board for Central Texas in Austin.

Dr. Michael Hicks is the President of Anesthesia Service for HCA Healthcare.

Prior to joining the anesthesia service line, Dr. Hicks served for 5 years as CMO for Surgery Ventures, HCA Healthcare’s ambulatory surgery center company.

Dr. Hicks has led anesthesiology practice management services across a variety of practice structures and sizes. He earned a medical degree from West Virginia University, an MBA from the University of Dallas and a Master of Science in health management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and has board certifications in anesthesiology, clinical informatics and health care administration, leadership and management.

Dr. Hicks is an active educator, author and frequent public speaker.

With nearly three decades of experience in healthcare finance, he has held leadership roles at Optum, MEDAC - Anesthesia Business Partners, and McKesson, among others. Gary holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and MIS from Duquesne University's Palumbo Donahue School of Business and specializes in strategic planning, healthcare management, and process improvement.

Jeff Peters leads growth strategy at Sullivan Healthcare Consulting, a firm specializing in perioperative and anesthesia performance improvement. He partners with hospitals and anesthesia groups to optimize cost structures, staffing models, and operational efficiency.

Jim Bobeck leads Federal Hearings and Appeals, specializing in reimbursement advocacy and regulatory processes. His experience provides insight into payer disputes, reimbursement challenges, and regulatory impacts on hospital-based services. 

Dr. Joseph Rodrigo is a board-certified anesthesiologist with over 22 years of experience as a clinician, educator, healthcare leader, and consultant. He specializes in perioperative strategy, cost management, and anesthesia department design, leading projects for health systems nationwide.

He earned his degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at The Ohio University Medical Center. He later joined a private practice in Charleston, SC, where he founded an acute pain program at Roper Hospital that became one of the largest non-academic programs on the East Coast. He also founded AMSURA to train physicians in regional anesthesia.

Dr. Rodrigo is a nationally recognized expert who has lectured at major conferences, including ASA and AOCA. He is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists and a former board examiner.

Dr. Joseph Rodrigo is Owner and President of ProMedical, LLC, with more than 23 years of experience in clinical anesthesiology and healthcare leadership. He specializes in guiding hospitals and surgery centers through anesthesia service integrations, transitions and peri-operative optimization. A Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists, he is also a recognized expert and educator in Acute Pain Management and Regional Anesthesia and a national lecturer on anesthesia quality, safety and medical malpractice.

Randy is NorthStar’s National Chief Anesthetist Officer. In this role, Randy oversees all CRNA services including staffing, recruiting, retention, and operational deployment of our teams. Randy has extensive experience in leadership development in the field of anesthesia care and has a proven track record for building strong leadership teams at the local and executive levels. He most recently served as the CEO of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), during which time he led significant transformational changes for the organization. A strong proponent of patient safety and clinical leadership, Randy has served on the Boards of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation, Council on Surgical and Perioperative Safety, and the AANA. Randy has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama, an MBA from Southern Illinois University, an MSN (anesthesia concentration) from Bradley University, and a BSN from Northern Illinois University.

Dr. Tom Wherry founded Scope Concepts to address evolving challenges in modern healthcare systems, drawing on clinical and consulting experience across the U.S., U.K., and Japan. He began his leadership path as Medical Director for a national surgery management company, where he improved clinical care, streamlined pathways, and enhanced profitability while maintaining patient safety.

A founding member of First Colonies Anesthesia Associates, he later helped tackle industry challenges through Total Anesthesia Solutions. After relocating to Charlotte, he launched Scope Anesthesia of North Carolina, building a team of 80+ anesthesiologists and leading care across 12 Atrium Health facilities, including Carolinas Medical Center.
